Lauren grew up locally in Hicks where she attended church with her grandmother. It was in her grandmother’s living room that she gave her life to Jesus when she was eight years old. She attended Louisiana College and afterwards spent 12 years teaching English in the public-school classroom.
It wasn’t until recently, after participating in the church-wide study of Experiencing God, that she felt called and surrendered her life to full-time ministry.
Lauren lives in Leesville with her husband Andy. Together, they have five kids: Macie, Arthur, Micah, Amelia, and Imogen.
