Louis Massie has been a part of the EAST team since his retirement from the Vernon Parish School System in 1996. He started as a part time employee and then full time as the Facilities Manager. Louis married his wife Ann in 1963 and they have three adult children, David, Kristi, and Gary Paul. Louis and Ann also have seven grandchildren.
Before retiring, Louis served as a teacher, coach and principal during his 32 year tenure. He was ordained into the deacon ministry at East in May 1977. When asked how he feels about what he does here, Louis answered , “I have been truly blessed to be a small part of this great Church and hope to continue here for several more years.”
